Orchard, Fruit and Vegetables

Warwickshire and Worcestershire have a long tradition of fruit growing.

The Orchard at Coughton Court echoes this history with its focus on old and traditional varieties from the local area, especially apples and pears. Plums and Cherries are grown in a traditional manner against the walls. There are some unusual fruits including quinces, medlars and more recently added, The Worcestershire Black Pear.

Recently the Nuttery has been replanted with Filiberts and Cobnuts. Next door are the productive soft fruit and vegetable gardens with cut flower borders.
